Family
As a husband, I’ve been married to the same wonderful wife for 40 years! We have three grown kids and two grandchildren! Our youngest family member is a 14 lb, 8-year-old Shitsu-Poodle mix named Marlie Rae. We live in Greenville, SC, where I have recently retired. My time these days is spent writing novels, teaching a Sunday School class, and spending as much time as I can with my two grandchildren.

“Flying The Line”
I am a recently retired professional pilot. I have been flying for 47 years, amassing 20,450 flight hours. From small single-engine aircraft to DC-9s, I have had the privilege of many years of safe flying. I am currently flying for an Aircraft Management / Air Charter company here in Greenville, SC. My current airplane is the Beechcraft King Air 350.

In early 2024, I decided to write a novel based on the experiences I’ve had as a professional pilot. I created a character named JJ Wyatt who became a sort of alter ego to me.
Since then, I have created a sequel with JJ as the main character. I have named it “The Next Waypoint”. It will be published in the fall of 2025.
